We consider ourselves Real Estate Consultants. What does that mean to our clients?
Some Realtors do business as if they will never hear from their clients again! Because they have that mindset, oftentimes customer service slips.
Our way of doing business is to think of our relationship with a client as a long-term association... not for just one transaction. Pat and I work hard to prove ourselves to our clients...that we have their best interests in mind. Because of this different mindset, the pressure is off! We are willing to work with our sellers and purchasers for as long as they need to in order to make them feel comfortable with the home buying or selling process.
We will tell the truth and live with the consequences. Again and again we've found that people prefer to work this way. Our concern is about our clients' well-being, their goals and what is best for them always! We never pressure our clients to sell or buy now or to do something that is NOT according to their schedule, if you think about it, that's why we get so much referral business.
The question always is... how can we show people that we aren't like the old traditional agent? That our skills, knowledge, counseling ability and commitment put us at a different level of service. One of the best ways to have potential new clients learn more about us is by reading about or talking to people who have enjoyed our services. We have set up several Client Lists with names and phone numbers of past clients who we have helped to either buy or sell a home. People on those lists have graciously agreed to take your phone calls and answer any questions you might have about us. We have also received testimonial letters that we will make available to you. We recognize that future clients feel better when they learn that other people have had good experiences with us.
Once you realize that you are represented by a real estate consultant and that we won't be pressuring you into doing anything that you don't want to do, there's a major turning point in the relationship, trust, has been established between us! You will be more comfortable with us, more revealing about what really concerns you and that, in turn, allows us to better counsel you and to give you some excellent advice.
